 Kristaq Mitro

Kristaq Mitro is a movie director (Merited Artist). In over 30 years, he directed over 12 feature films and several documentaries and cartoons. His debut feature “The last winter” (1976) won a special award in the 2nd Albanian Feature Film Festival. In 1983, he won first prize and the cup of the 5th Albanian Feature Film Festival with “The good man” (1982). His feature “Love your name” (1984) won the Jury award in Cairo International Film Festival in 1983. His other features include “The bride and the curfew” (1978), “Apasionata” (1983), “Freedom or death”, “Morning call” (1987), “A boy and a girl” (1990) etc. Actually, he is a professor of Directing at the Academy of Fine Arts.
