Sinopsis: Sonny Boy is the adaptation of the bestselling novel by Annejet van der Zijl, based on the true story of the forbidden love between two apparently ordinary people: Rika, a typical Dutch mother of four children, and Waldemar, a Surinamese man seventeen years her junior. Their love can survive all the presumptions and obstructions of the cruel world outside, but is finally unable to cope with the brutal and devastating power of war. | Filmography Patrick›s koninkrijk (2008) Just Don’t Do It (2006) Pietje Bell II: De jacht op de tsarenkroon (2003) Pietje Bell (2002) First Child on the Moon (2001) Little Crumb (1999) Een echte hond (1998) De angst van Zorg (1997) Lovely Liza (1997) The Purse Snatcher (1995) All Birds Fly (1983) Maria Peters was born in 1958.
