Based on the best-seller by Gordana Kuić, The Scent of Rain in the Balkans tells the true story of the Sephardic family Salom which lived in Sarajevo since the early 20th century until the end of World War II. The nine-member family lives through one of the most turbulent historic periods in the Balkans. The film represent a clash and dialogue of cultures and civilizations on the crossroads between the West and the East!
