SHORT ALBANIAN FILM STUDENTS (Beautiful Maiden of Durrës Award) - ACROPOLIS by Blerdi MALUSHI

This is a story of a homeless and not educated doctor, who volunteers by helping people with free medicine. He is a bit strange and lives in a train wagon. One morning, the doctor received a letter from the government which says he has to leave the wagon. In this case his only hope is the girl next door, in the other train wagon. When he gets there he found out an extraordinary situation. But, not everything ends there. He feels his heart is breaking abut still continues his journey, all alone. 

 

 

 



Blerdi Malushi

Blerdi Malushi is a student of directing, currently attending the 4th year of the Academy of Arts in Prishtina. He graduated also in Journalism and Massive Communication. Blerdi directed five short movies such as: "7 pa 30", "One Angel", "Acropolis", "Tuneli", "Profesionisti". Malushi is also well known for documentary films such as: "Kompromisi i Elefanteve", "Ne mbrojtje te Tokes", "Kontakt 2". He has a TV experience as well, directed many entertainment shows in TV 21. Currently he is head of the production company "Thumbs up" in Prishtina. Awards: Skena Up International Film Festival- Special Mention for Acropolis; Gjakova Film Fest 2012- Best Camera for Acropolis.
